Signs That You’re On The Right Path

They say that you’ll know you’re on the right path when you feel so sure and right about something. At first, I’m not really certain what do they mean by that but when I started to feel so anxious about my future and where will life will take me, that’s where I started to realize so many things.

I took the degree that I felt so wrong from the start. I grabbed and stayed in a job that doesn’t felt right even when I was still on my way to get there. Everything was a mistake from the beginning but because I don’t know how was I supposed to use my intuition at that time, I still proceeded. It took me 3 years to figure out where I was meant to be and I know that it had in me but I ignored all the signs. My fear took over me so I just went to the flow and became deaf with what my heart truly was saying to me.

However, no matter what other people tell me now, I no longer care. Some may think that 3 years was wasted time and I should’ve listened better to my guts, so on and so forth. I’m just going to smile because I know better. I’ve learned a lot from my past experiences and I won’t be able to see and know what I’m capable of without all of it.

Today, I want to share with you what are the signs I’ve managed to notice and see that I’m taking the right path.

1. I’m excited to wake up in the morning.

I used to curse most of the time whenever I wake up knowing that I’m about to go to school and work that I don’t enjoy doing. Getting my diploma and making money was just my motivation to get up every single day in the past. I don’t put all the effort that was required to put because I don’t love what I do. I just finish what needs to be done.

So I shifted my career path and things have changed too. I woke up feeling excited knowing that I’ll be able to do now what I’m absolutely passionate about. I used to wake up at 9 am but I was able to change it to 4 am. I can now manage my time for the whole day unlike before. You’ll know you’re taking the right path if you can start your day with a smile.

2. You look forward to learning new things.

Related to number 1, if you wake up in the morning full of positivity, it also means that you look forward to new adventures. You’ll feel that life isn’t good without learning new things or facing new challenges every day because that’s what it’s made of. Always think that it is about opening your eyes every morning and believing yourself that you’ll have the wisdom to gain.

3. You feel more relaxed than worried about the future.

It’s common to worry about the future. Thinking about what kind of life you’ll have, who are you going to end up with, the list goes on. But to enjoy life to the fullest, I let my guard down, embrace my mistakes, forget about my regrets, worries and fears. When I mastered not thinking too much, I’ve started to feel more relax. I can no longer remember the last time I got bothered about my future. This also helped me to clear my mind and make right and reasonable decisions in my life which lead me to the right direction, where I am now.

4. You’re grateful for what you have and still look forward to what’s coming.

I’ve always been thankful for all the blessings that I’ve been receiving ever since but for some reason, I don’t know how to value everything that I have. Yet it didn’t stop me to focus on what I already got and still be happy for what’s more coming. I used to be the kind of person who always looks for more instead of just being appreciative. So when I started to feel the opposite, I know I’m taking the right path and thinks that what lies ahead of me are better good things.

5. You consider problems as challenges.

I easily give up and get upset before. I’m unsure of everything which made me more afraid to deal with my problems. I always ran away from all of it rather than face it. But now, I realized that all problems have solutions. I won’t be able to grow as a strong person that I am today if not with the challenges I’ve faced. It made me more trust myself that I can do everything that I want and be happy with the path that I am now.
