Going Through The Darkness Before Experiencing The Light

There’s an enormous probability that each of us had been through rough times. And some may still be in that phase of life as of the moment. Some days, we feel awful about the past, reminding ourselves about the bad decisions we made and think that if we didn’t take that road, we might be in much better situations in the present. However, the darkness we went and still going through, without our consciousness, have a bigger part of our future and that’s the time we will see the light of life.

I have this belief that being on top all the time is not possible. We will all be in a place, once or a couple of times on our way where we feel everything looks like there’s no tomorrow. When that happens, most of us look over to the idea of being hopeful and tend to focus on what makes us feel miserable, down and lonely. I wonder sometimes how can others surpass the trials they have faced in life even if it looks that they have the worst problem in the world. While others, with just a small and sometimes, nonsense problem, have already decided to give up.

Being brave enough, patient and hopeful when we are in the darkest moments of our lives are some of the keys that will lead us to the happiest and brightest moments that are waiting for us. I don’t know if I have already encountered the worst of the worst challenges in my life but I can tell you that I became stronger with what I have faced before. A lot of success stories are spreading on social media and news and I’m glad how we get inspired by them. But unfortunately, others can’t accept the fact that life isn’t fair so instead of getting inspired, they hate, get disappointed and compare the life they have with them.

I always held to the idea of life being in a roller coaster ride. It has twists and turns, sometimes we get scared that we might fall, laugh because it didn’t happen and get relieved that it’s done. And all we need to do is to relax and enjoy the rest of the time of our existence. I admit that I have failed multiple times now in life but still, I choose to move forward, consider my failures as life lessons and be happy.
