5:15 am – The time I woke up this morning. I checked my phone and closed my eyes for a few more minutes. I slept late last night, 10 minutes before midnight. I only had 5 hours of sleep but I felt okay.
5:40 am – When I decided to get up. I made my bed, changed my clothes, and tied my hair. It’s always been a habit of mine not to leave my room without making my bed. Seeing my room organize after a long day feels like a reward for me.
6:00 am – I started to cook food for my pets. While I wait, I started sweeping the floor from the kitchen to the living room. Again, another habit. I don’t like seeing the house messy because it makes me irritated.
6:30 am – I fed my pets. While waiting for them to get finish eating, I soaked the laundry. I wasn’t planning to do it today but I was in the mood.
7:00 am – I made myself a peanut butter sandwich and chips. One of the goals I have this year is to gain more weight so even if I feel lazy to prepare food in the morning, I have to. I focus more on the outcome more than the process.
7:30 am – I did an arm workout. I didn’t overdo it because it’s been a while since the last time I workout.
8:30 am – I helped my mom arrange the plants on the balcony. It looked boring for a couple of months without any plants on it. I’m planning to spend most of my time on the balcony too while I read books instead of doing it in my room. I feel like I should enjoy more being outside since last year, I was being a homebody.
10:30 am – I finished cleaning and organizing the plants by myself while my mom made food for lunch. This was my idea anyways.
11:00 am – I ate lunch. I had spaghetti. My mom had rice and fish.
11:30 am – I washed the dishes.
11:45 am – I did laundry. I usually do laundry around 7 to 8 am.
12:00 pm – I took a quick shower.
1:00 – 2:00 pm – I napped. It was supposed to be a 30-minute nap but I only had 5 hours of sleep and I got tired from my morning activities.
2:30 pm – I cooked food for my pets again. I had to do it early because I have to let it cool first.
3:00-3:30 pm – I played a game on my phone while waiting for my pets’ food to cool down. I’m being mindful now of using my phone. I have this app where I can see how much time I spend using it in a day. The average time a person spends using the phone is 3-4 hours a day. But sometimes, I spend 7-8 hours a day because some things are easier to access on my phone than on my laptop. This year, I promised myself to be more responsible when it comes to how and where I spend my 24 hours.
4:00 – 4:30 pm – I fed my pets and put away the clothes I washed this morning because it started to rain. I washed the dishes too and ate an afternoon snack.
4:30 – 5:00 pm – I made a post for my blog.
5:30 pm – Dinner time. I ate early even if I don’t want to because it was my mom’s dinner time. It’s different when you live with elders than with younger people. And not to feel hungry soon, I eat a lot more than I normally eat. I sleep late so I have so much time to spend on the food in my stomach to digest before I go to sleep.
6:00 pm – I washed the dishes and brushed my teeth.
7:00 pm – I organized my closet.
7: 30 pm – I did a leg workout for 10 minutes.
7:40 – 10:45 pm – I changed my clothes, write in my journal and read.
11:00 pm – Bedtime.
